Incontri di Mondi Lontani: From the exploration trips of the late 19th century to the research of Angelo and Alfredo Castiglioni. This is the proposed exhibition itinerary that through documents, testimonies, objects, photographs and videos will accompany the visitor on a long journey towards distant peoples and cultures different from our own.
Starting in the 1950s, the Castiglionis have conducted research on the African continent and in the Amazon for over sixty years, collecting precious ethnological and archaeological evidence in the field and documenting with photos and films, rites, uses, customs and traditions, which we would otherwise have lost forever. The distant worlds, the subject of this exhibition, are not only geographically distant from us, but are now distant in time.
The guided visit at the exhibition:”Incontri di Mondo Lontani” lasts 90 min. and costs €100,- for a group (10 persons group, costs per person €10).
The entrance ticket for a group of min. 10 persons costs €3,- per person.
